What is an email address?
An email address, also called an email alias, is a name that you want people to be able to send email to at your domain. This is created when you configure instructions as to how you want that email to that address delivered.
For example,
somealias@
yourdomain.com.au could be set to forward email to
somename@
someisp.com.au.
You can have unlimited email addresses and can configure them via our Toolkit
toolkit.ilisys.com.au.
Email addresses can be set to forward email through to an ISP mail address, or a Hotmail or similar free email address. If your hosting package with Ilisys includes one or more email acounts, you can deliver mail from an email address into one or more of your email accounts. Or you can do any combination of these.
You can also add an automated response or vacation message to an email address, so the system can reply on your behalf.
Finally, you can set an email address to bounce all messages, or to set various spam filter settings.
