Merchants require an Internet Merchant Account with one of the major national banks, which offers online services. The online banking facility will need to be configured for the Ilisys / Camtech Gateway. A merchant and terminal id that references this facility will need to be supplied to Ilisys.

Please stress to the bank that you require an online merchant account, that can be linked to a Camtech gateway. From time to time, confusion can result in the creation of an EFTPOS account instead. EFTPOS accounts cannot be linked to the Ilisys / Camtech payment gateway.
