This afternoon, we launched a dedicated Linux FTP cluster.

These new machines will handle FTP transactions for all Linux-hosted websites. Creating a dedicated cluster for this service will increase the performance capacity of both the HTTP and FTP services and allow us to scale the HTTP cluster more efficiently.
